Your focus will be on meticulous maintenance planning, regulatory adherence, and safety protocol implementation.</p>\n<p> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position:<span> </span></span>Senior Transport and Compliance Manager</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:<span> </span></span>Goddards Green, West Sussex (<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">You will be required to travel across the South of the UK)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Type:<span> </span></span>permanent, full-time</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours:<span> </span></span>Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary:<span> </span></span>£48,000 - £52,000, subject to experience plus a company vehicle, fuel card.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span> 21 days holiday (plus bank holidays); health cash plan; onsite parking; auto enrolment pension scheme; friendly working environment. <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>STRICTLY NO AGENCIES PLEASE <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role:</span> Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for a Senior Transport and Compliance Manager to manage a team of Transport Managers, working to deliver real and effective solutions with our fleet of vehicles. <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vehicle Maintenance\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for the transportation fleet.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with in-house maintenance teams and external service providers to ensure timely and efficient repairs and inspections.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including schedules and associated costs.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Regulatory Compliance\n<ul>\n<li>Stay abreast of UK transportation regulations and standards, ensuring Lanes Group Ltd's compliance with local, national, and industry-specific laws.</li>\n<li>Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with safety and environmental regulations.</li>\n<li>Work closely with relevant authorities and agencies to address compliance issues and stay informed about updates.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Safety Protocols\n<ul>\n<li>Implement and enforce robust safety protocols to minimize accidents and ensure the well-being of our transportation personnel.</li>\n<li>Provide comprehensive training to drivers and other staff on safety procedures and compliance requirements.</li>\n<li>Investigate and promptly report any accidents or incidents, taking corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Working with Key Stakeholders\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to ensure seamless communication and alignment of objectives.</li>\n<li>Engage with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and clients to address concerns, provide updates, and foster positive relationships.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Documentation and Reporting\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and compliance activities.</li>\n<li>Generate reports for Lanes Group PLC management, highlighting key performance indicators related to maintenance and compliance.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Vendor Management\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate effectively with external vendors for vehicle maintenance and compliance services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maintaining high-quality standards.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br>So if you enjoy working in the field and delivering only the best in fleet service, where no two days are the same and want to join a growing company that not only values you and your ability - but also strives to develop your potential and further your career progression, then we are the right company for you. <br>What is essential is the ability to work safely to quickly diagnose and deliver practical and efficient solutions to attain the highest levels of service for our customers.</p>\n<p> <br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About You:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
