The <span>Junior </span> Category Manager has to clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to upper management.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Serve as the lead point of contact for all suppliers, negotiate new contract, and extract up front and back margins<br>Build and maintain strong, long-lasting supplier relationships based on trust and respect<br>Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits<br>Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends<br>Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to upper management<br>Devise long-term development strategies for product categories<br>Foster trust relationships with suppliers to achieve better pricing and quality of services<br>Prepare reports on positioning of a product category to maximize visibility<br>Communicating with suppliers to understand their needs and explain product value<br>Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about consumer behavior and propose ideas to increase revenues<br>Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes<br>Liaise with the marketing coordinator to determined competitive pricing promotional activities of a product category</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Proven work experience as a Category Manager or similar role<br>Problem solving skills and analytical skills<br>FMCG experience is preferred<br>Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail<br>Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills<br>Strong verbal and written communication skills<br>BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or relevant field</p>",
