An Engineering Technical Lead at Modus typically reports to a Director, Engineering and above.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Technical Leadership, Direction &amp; Mentorship</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Lead the architecture, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable digital products</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Drive technical direction, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Integrate large language models and retrieval augmented generation systems into functional applications.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Lead code reviews and uphold high standards for code quality, performance, and security</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Mentor and support engineers through coaching, pairing, and constructive feedback</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Hands-on Execution </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Contribute hands-on to the codebase while guiding architectural decisions and best practices</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Review wireframes/design mockups and prototypes and ensure their feasibility</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaboration &amp; Alignment</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Collaborate closely with Product and Design to deliver high-quality, user-centered experiences</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Attend and engage in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers and clients, translating complex technical concepts into clear insights</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and technical decisions to stakeholders</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Promote a culture of continuous improvement through iteration, experimentation, and innovation</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Other duties related to the position that may arise from time to time and as may be assigned</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\"><br></span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">6–10+ years of experience in software design and development with a strong full-stack background</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Proven experience in a technical leadership or senior engineering role</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Strong proficiency in modern frontend and backend technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, .NET, Java or similar)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Solid understanding of system architecture, APIs, and scalable application design</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team growth</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">Experience with AI and agentic systems and technology is a strong plus</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 300\">You’re located in Buenos Aires and are willing to work from our office at least 2 times a month (hybrid schedule)  </span></li>\n</ul>",
