We offer most employees the option of a <strong>hybrid</strong> schedule with a work week that includes both office and work from home days.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Independently complete engineering design, technical analysis, and preparation of specifications and reports f various highway projects including roadway modeling, roundabouts, and signal design</li>\n <li>Develop computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior staff or technical leadership</li>\n <li>Identify and resolve technical discrepancies, applying standard procedures and best practices for safety and infrastructure resilience</li>\n <li>Monitor project progress and performance, acting quickly to resolve operational issues and minimize delays in critical transportation projects</li>\n <li>Take responsibility for large portions of projects with oversight from senior staff or management, including field assignments </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required</li>\n <li>NHDOT experience preferred</li>\n <li>Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred</li>\n <li>Strong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settings</li>\n <li>Understanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standards</li>\n <li>Proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (MicroStation, OpenRoads, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset</li>\n <li>Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why You'll Love It Here:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute to impactful transportation projects that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability while growing your engineering expertise</li>\n <li>Work alongside a collaborative team of skilled engineers and project managers</li>\n <li>Enjoy a flexible work setting with opportunities for local projects and occasional travel</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Curious about the impactful work our Highway & Rail team is doing?
