Come join the QCC team and be part of our vision for the future!<br><br><b>Nursing Responsibilities: </b><ul><li>Assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive healthcare to patients by providing the following:<ul><li>Administer medications</li><li>Perform medical intakes and assess if patient is fit for incarceration, as needed</li><li>Respond to sick call requests and follow up with the medical provider when needed</li><li>Check and/or change medical dressings as required by the medical provider</li><li>Performing 14-day physicals</li><li>Managing chronic care</li><li>Providing patient education on health concerns</li><li>Responding to medical emergencies<ul><li>Be capable of performing life saving measures and ability to take charge and give direction in an emergency.</li></ul></li><li>Maintain working knowledge of pharmacology, including but not limited to drug reaction/overdose, formulary/non-formulary medications, and knowledge of medication costs</li><li>Be able to provide insight and direction to Medically Trained Personnel, as needed.</li><li>Comply with all current and future state, federal, and local laws and regulations</li></ul></li></ul><br><b>Location: </b>Grant County Jail - Marion, Indiana<br><br><b>Shift Opening(s): </b><ul><li>8 AM to 4 PM Fridays. Availability to pick up shifts at neighboring Blackford County Jail in Hartford City if someone is wanting more hours (18 hrs/week, three 6 hr shifts). </li></ul><b>Requirements:</b><ul><li>Valid RN licensure</li><li>Valid CPR certification</li><li>Must be able to stand for extended periods of time</li><li>Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently</li><li>Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds</li></ul><b>QCC’s Benefits:</b><ul><li>Paid time off</li><li>Competitive compensation </li><li>Referral Program</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li><li>Financial Wellness Program</li><li>401K with a 4% company match</li><li>Additional benefits available for part-time employees working 20-30 hrs/week</li></ul><br> ",
