As leaders in building code consulting and permitting services, we&rsquo;re proud to help shape the skylines of tomorrow through excellence in regulatory compliance, project management, and client service.</p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>We&rsquo;re looking for a <strong>Senior Project Manager, Multi- Family/ Mixed Use New Buildings and Major Alterations</strong> to join our team. In this role, you&rsquo;ll lead complex drawing reviews, oversee project management efforts, and guide teams through filing and approval processes with NYC agencies. You&rsquo;ll also play a key role in client relationship management, internal training development, and mentoring direct reports to support high-quality project delivery.</p><p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Lead complex drawing reviews, markups, and project management activities.</li><li>Assign project management teams and provide guidance throughout the filing and approval process.</li><li>Support Project Managers with complex technical and regulatory issues.</li><li>Navigate NYC agency processes including DOB, DOB NOW, Department of Finance, and condominium filings.</li><li>&nbsp;Draft complex AI1 appeals and determinations.</li><li>Develop and facilitate training sessions on NYC agency procedures, regulations, and best practices.</li><li>Manage client relationships and serve as a key point of contact for projects.</li><li>Supervise, coach, and support direct reports.</li></ul><p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Bring</strong></p><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Class 2 Code &amp; Zoning Representative License.</strong></li><li>Strong understanding of NYC agency processes, including DOB, DOF, LPC, DOT, HPD, and OER applications.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of zoning, filing processes, and project management workflows.</li><li>Supervisory or team leadership experience.</li><li>Strong communication, organization, and client management skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with ULURP, Revocable Consent, and complex zoning analysis.</li><li>Familiarity with HPD Affordable Housing Programs</li><li>Experience with Article I Chapter 5 Residential conversions&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with DOBNOW platforms (BUILD, SAFETY, INSPECTIONS).</li><li>Knowledge of LPC, DOF, FDNY, and zoning-related filing requirements.</li><li>Experience with ACRIS, zoning lot development agreements, and air rights transactions.</li><li>Understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, fire protection systems, and construction safety standards.</li><li>Experience developing internal training programs or leading educational sessions.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment &amp; Schedule</strong></p><ul><li>This position is based in New York City, with a hybrid schedule.</li><li>Standard working hours are Monday- Friday, 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM.&nbsp;</li><li>Travel may be required for client site visits or municipal agency meetings as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Salary range:</strong>&nbsp;$90,000-$100,000 based on knowledge, skills, and experience.</li><li>Comprehensive health, dental, and vision, insurance, and 401K plan.</li><li>Paid time off: Holiday, vacation, sick, personal and birthday.</li><li>Career development and growth opportunities.</li></ul><p><em>Milrose Consultants, LLC is an <strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong>.
