    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">FlexStaff is seeking <b>Mammography Technologists</b> for our client, in their health care centers throughout the metropolitan area.&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Various positions open in Brooklyn.</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Shifts</p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>8:00am-4:00pm</span></li>\n <li><span>8:30am-4:30pm</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><i>Candidates need to be available for an evening shift (10a-6p or 11a-7p) once a week and availability for a Saturday rotation</i></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><i>Salary levels are commensurate with experience&nbsp;</i></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><b>Patient Preparation &amp; Protocol Execution:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Review patient clinical data and imaging orders, interpreting requisitions with accuracy.</li>\n <li>Execute mammography and X-ray protocols in strict accordance with departmental guidelines.</li>\n <li>Implement infection control measures and Universal Precautions to ensure a safe environment.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all administrative policies, including those concerning patient rights, abuse, and HIPAA.</li>\n <li>Verify patient identity using two-identifier system.</li>\n <li>Assist patients with garment changes and positioning for examinations, ensuring comfort and safety.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><b>Image Acquisition &amp; Documentation:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform mammography and general radiographic imaging procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate and timely records of all examinations performed within the PACS/RIS.</li>\n <li>Document pertinent patient history and procedural details to support radiographic interpretation.</li>\n <li>Address and correct any archival errors promptly.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><b>Technical Operations &amp; Maintenance:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct regular checks on diagnostic equipment functionality.</li>\n <li>Operate all imaging equipment safely and efficiently.</li>\n <li>Report any equipment malfunctions or performance issues to the appropriate supervisor.</li>\n <li>Contribute to the maintenance of preventative maintenance logs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><b>Quality Assurance &amp; Regulatory Compliance:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure all mammographic and X-ray images are of diagnostic quality and patient information is accurate.</li>\n <li>Possess a thorough understanding of MQSA/FDA quality control and assurance requirements.</li>\n <li>Actively participate in QA program initiatives and meetings.</li>\n <li>Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of examination rooms.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><b>Professional Competency &amp; Development:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Engage in ongoing professional development activities.</li>\n <li>Maintain current registry credentials, licensure, and educational requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><b>Workplace Standards:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Adhere to the organization’s dress code, attendance, and punctuality policies.</li>\n <li>Deliver excellent customer service in line with organizational standards (e.g., ICARE).</li>\n <li>Ensure all patient information is handled with the utmost confidentiality per HIPAA.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\"><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current New York State License as a Radiologic Technologist.</li>\n <li>Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), specifically in Mammography (ARRT (M)).</li>\n <li>Education: Bachelor's degree&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience</li>\n <li>System Proficiency: Experience with GE PACS and EPIC</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">*Additional Salary Detail</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
