This role requires strong organization, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience with medical records, insurance adjusters, and settlement documentation.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p>Client Communication   </p>\n<p> •    Serve as main contact for clients after intake   </p>\n<p> •    Provide case updates and explain next steps in the claims process  </p>\n<p> •    Maintain compassionate, professional communication with injured clients</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Case Management </span> </p>\n<p>•    Manage pre-litigation personal injury cases from start to settlement     </p>\n<p>•    Track treatment progress and follow up with clients regarding medical care     </p>\n<p>•    Maintain organized digital files and case notes</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Medical Records &amp; Billing </span>    </p>\n<p>•    Request, track, and review medical records and billing statements     </p>\n<p>•    Prepare medical summaries and treatment timelines     </p>\n<p>•    Identify missing records and follow up with providers</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Insurance Coordination </span>    </p>\n<p>•    Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding claims status     </p>\n<p>•    Send letters of representation     </p>\n<p>•    Assist in preparing demand packages</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Demand Preparation  </span>   </p>\n<p>•    Compile demand packages including:     </p>\n<p>•    Medical records and bills     </p>\n<p>•    Lost wage documentation     </p>\n<p>•    Liability support documents     </p>\n<p>•    Draft demand letters (under attorney supervision)</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Administrative &amp; Legal Support </span>    </p>\n<p>•    Calendar key deadlines     </p>\n<p>•    Assist with settlement breakdowns     </p>\n<p>•    Coordinate lien reductions when applicable     </p>\n<p>•    Help transition files to litigation team if needed</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications  </span>   </p>\n<p>•    3+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager or PI Legal Assistant     </p>\n<p>•    Strong knowledge of pre-litigation personal injury process     </p>\n<p>•    Experience requesting and organizing medical records and bills     </p>\n<p>•    Familiarity with insurance claims and demand packages     </p>\n<p>•    Excellent written and verbal English communication skills     </p>\n<p>•    Highly organized with strong attention to detail     </p>\n<p>•    Comfortable working independently in a remote environment</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications </span>    </p>\n<p>•    Experience with U.S.-based personal injury law firms     </p>\n<p>•    Familiarity with case management software (Clio, Filevine, Needles, Smokeball, etc.)    •    Understanding of medical terminology     </p>\n<p>•    Experience handling liens (Medicare, Medi-Cal, health insurance, etc.)</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Traits for Success  </span>   </p>\n<p>•    Empathetic and patient with injured clients     </p>\n<p>•    Proactive follow-up skills     </p>\n<p>•    Able to manage multiple cases at different stages     </p>\n<p>•    Deadline-driven and detail-oriented     </p>\n<p>•    Professional in dealing with insurance adjusters and providers</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Performance Expectations</span></p>\n<p>Success in this role means:     </p>\n<p>•    Files are organized and up to date     </p>\n<p>•    Clients feel informed and supported     </p>\n<p>•    Medical records and bills are tracked without attorney prompting     </p>\n<p>•    Demand packages are thorough and timely     </p>\n<p>•    Cases move efficiently toward settlement</p>\n<p>&lt;!-- notionvc: 40201126-d7dc-4ab2-af79-1369e39c0ac8 --&gt;</p>",
