    "description": "<h2>Role Summary</h2>Free People is looking for a Wholesale Planner to support our growing Apparel business. This role will navigate a dynamic wholesale landscape, building thoughtful merchandise plans that drive sales, maintain healthy inventory, and support margin goals.\n<h2>Role Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the success of the Apparel division by meeting or exceeding sales, IMU, and inventory expectations</li>\n <li>Clearly communicate and provide reporting and analysis weekly to highlight performance to budget, class plans, report on important trends or key initiatives</li>\n <li>Plan monthly buys in partnership with merchant, sales team, and buyers utilizing buyroll tool and considering booking history, current category/item sales, and on the floor sales</li>\n <li>Run and own the open to buy for Apparel; report on monthly to senior management</li>\n <li>Effectively manage replenishment business through ladder planning and analysis</li>\n <li>Operate independently, demonstrate sound decision-making, and assume ownership of deliverables and project results</li>\n <li>Build strong partnerships thru constant communication and collaboration with merchant and sales team </li>\n <li>Understand and quantify the financial impact of any significant new, growing, and declining categories</li>\n <li>Independently run and distribute weekly and month end reports for owned division and brand</li>\n <li>Systems expert and partnering with IT on troubleshooting</li>\n <li>Streamlining reporting</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Role Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong financial and analytical skills</li>\n <li>Results driven</li>\n <li>Creative problem solver/ “outside the box” thinker</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills</li>\n <li>Works well in teams</li>\n <li>Superior excel skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-LR3</p>\n<h2>The Perks</h2>\n<p>URBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
