We&rsquo;re looking for reliable, dedicated people who value teamwork, safety, and consistency<strong>.&nbsp;</strong>If you want work you can take pride in, a supportive team, and a company that respects the people on the floor, you may find your home at Flagstone Foods.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>POSITION: Production Supervisor &ndash; 1<sup>st</sup> Shift</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>REPORTS TO: Production Superintendent</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.75pt;\"><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.75pt;\">Manage shift operation of food manufacturing facility, including production and packaging of finished goods, personnel, labor cost control, waste control, and food safety.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:.7pt;\"><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 26.75px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Execute production schedule to meet customer orders and ensure quality and food safety standards are maintained.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Establish employee schedule and coordinate work of production associates to achieve plant goals/metrics.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Continually train, coach, and supervise new and existing employees.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Utilize performance measurement systems to provide feedback to direct reports in areas of productivity, cost, quality, food safety, and employee safety.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Hold employees accountable for attendance, job expectations, cGMPs, productivity metrics, and SOP compliance.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Operate within the Production labor budget, report on direct labor, production efficiencies, quality, and safety.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage equipment downtime according to issue, saving as much product as possible.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in pre-operation audits and ensure deficiencies noted during the audit are addressed.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain safe working conditions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with Human Resources regarding personnel and performance issues.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of products manufactured in the facility.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform other job-related duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.75pt;\"><strong>Qualifications (Education/Experience)</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 26.75px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">College degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">2&ndash;5 years of leadership experience in production, preferably in the food industry, or manufacturing experience required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong computer skills including experience with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong leadership and team-building skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong verbal and written communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Self-directed with the ability to work without close supervision.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Supervises &ndash; Yes</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:.75pt;\"><strong>Physical Requirements&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This role has certain physical demands outlined in the Essential Functions section, which reflect what&rsquo;s needed to successfully perform the job.
