    "description": "<p>We are seeking motivated and reliable General Laborers to join our underground utility construction team. This role involves supporting or operating horizontal directional drilling equipment to install underground fiber optic. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is a strong plus and may lead to expanded responsibilities and higher compensation. <br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br>Assist with or operate HDD equipment including drill rigs, mud systems, and locating systems<br>Set up and break down drilling equipment at job sites<br>Read and interpret utility maps and blueprints<br>Perform potholing and trenching as needed to expose existing utilities<br>Mix and monitor drilling fluids and ensure proper disposal<br>Maintain clean and safe job sites in compliance with OSHA and company standards<br>Load, transport, and unload equipment and materials<br>Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and utility locators<br>Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.  Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. Completes other duties and projects, as assigned.<br><br>Qualifications:<br>Prior experience in HDD or underground utility construction preferred<br>Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks<br>Strong work ethic and willingness to learn<br>Valid driver’s license required<br>CDL (Class A or B) strongly preferred<br>Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check<br>Knowledge of Ditch Witch, Vermeer, or similar HDD equipment <br>Ability to travel to various job sites as needed<br><br>Preferred Skills :<br>Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Experience with utility locating equipment, OSHA 10 or 30 certification and  First Aid/CPR certification</p>",
