If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists clients to optimize treatment plant staffing labor, power and chemical costs </li>\n <li>Develops process startup, commissioning, and testing plans</li>\n <li>Develops site inspection checklists for use during construction</li>\n <li>Leads commissioning, startup, and testing efforts that result from Design Contracts</li>\n <li>Advises clients on startup adjustments and facility tuning</li>\n <li>Leads preparation of Standard Operating Procedures and comparable documentation</li>\n <li>Prepares operator training courses</li>\n <li>Leads preparation of O&M manual updates (paper and electronic)</li>\n <li>Provides facility optimization services</li>\n <li>Conducts overall systems performance evaluation</li>\n <li>Performs detailed process facility optimization review</li>\n <li>Reviews operating and laboratory data and data collection methodology</li>\n <li>Evaluates staffing levels and training needs</li>\n <li>Prepares process trouble-shooting guidelines</li>\n <li>Assists clients in staff development and transition planning</li>\n <li>Evaluates and develops strategies for operational data acquisition and presentation</li>\n <li>Assists with client marketing</li>\n <li>Participates in project pursuits</li>\n <li>Attends and participates in selected conferences</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Extensive experience in water and/or wastewater process operations</li>\n <li>Knowledge of regulated water/wastewater business and regulatory requirements</li>\n <li>Minimum of ten (15) years of experience with at least three (3) years in a supervisory capacity</li>\n <li>Upper-level licensing in water and/or wastewater treatment plant operation</li>\n <li>AAS in Water Quality Management, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Math, Environmental Science or related field of study</li>\n <li>Business and financial acumen, and demonstrated leadership and management skills</li>\n <li>Strong project management skills</li>\n <li>Strong writing and presentation skills</li>\n <li>Innovative leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Ability to travel as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BA/BS in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Math, Environmental Science or related field of study</li>\n <li>Superintendent or director experience in utility operations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Range</h2>\n<p> An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.</p>\n<h2>Other Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p>Carollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
