Our family-run plumbing company is growing rapidly and we are currently seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team!</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Goal:</span></p>\n<p>The Construction Technician works on all stages of home builds; under-slab, rough-in, and finish. He or she installs pipes for carrying water, sewage, and gas to or from residential facilities and is responsible for the installation and testing of plumbing fixtures and appliances.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Full Time | $24 - $32 per hour</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Represent Bob Means Plumbing in a professional manner.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with the Construction Manager on daily responsibilities and expectations.</li>\n<li>Read and interpret blueprints to plan plumbing installation and layouts.</li>\n<li>Installation of sewage, water, and gas lines to meet all fixture or appliance needs in the home.</li>\n<li>Installation of fixtures and appliances including, but not limited to;</li>\n<li>- Gas or electric water heaters (standard tank or tankless)- Showers and tubs- Sinks and faucets- Toilets- Appliances (stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, washer/dryer, etc.)</li>\n<li>Accurately report material and time for assigned tasks.</li>\n<li>Receive, inspect, and verify all deliveries to the job site.</li>\n<li>Consult with the Construction Manager on plan revisions and change orders.</li>\n<li>Occasionally communicate with customers; answer their questions and ensure expectations.</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean, safe project site.</li>\n<li>Strive for no-defect project completion.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and colleagues.</li>\n<li>Attention to detail ensuring that all projects meet quality standards.</li>\n<li>Effective problem solving and critical thinking abilities.</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>\n<li>Excellent organization and time-management skills.</li>\n<li>Flexible/Adaptable; able to shift direction quickly.</li>\n<li>Must possess the ability to learn relevant software systems as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education/Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience in a construction labor field.</li>\n<li>Hand and power tool knowledge/experience.</li>\n<li>Understanding of construction procedures and material management.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with quality, health, and safety standards.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with “field service management systems” is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Functions primarily in a job-site environment.</li>\n<li>Work requires the ability to sit and stand throughout the day.</li>\n<li>Position requires the use of fingers, hands, and arms on a consistent basis for plumbing and physical labor work.</li>\n<li>Position requires the ability to talk and hear.</li>\n<li>The Service Technician must occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical, Dental, and Vision plans. </li>\n<li>401k with company match</li>\n<li>Company paid life insurance and short-term disability.</li>\n<li>Company provided uniforms and laundry service.</li>\n<li>Annual clothing allowance.</li>\n<li>Annual tool allowance.</li>\n<li>Paid time off.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Experienced and qualified individuals are encouraged to apply and become part of the Bob Means Family!</p>",
