BR+A provides state-of-the-art integrated and coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection consulting engineering, technology systems design, lighting design, and building commissioning services.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>BR+A is seeking a Plumbing Engineer in our Coral Gables or Tampa, FL office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of experience and the following skills:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Familiarity with specification writing;</li><li>Performing field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects;</li><li>Coordinating with other disciplines;</li><li>Developing calculations for Plumbing system sizing;</li><li>Thorough knowledge of local Plumbing Codes;</li><li>Understanding work planning and manage the design process to the available hours in the plan;</li><li>Ability to meet with clients and work with contractors;</li><li>Oversee deliverables to and from clients;</li><li>Take ownership of assignments and work both independently and as part of the project team.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Position Requirements</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering</li><li>Proficient in Auto CAD and Revit</li><li>Strongly motivated, well organized, and shows professional initiative</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Proactive and collaborative team member</li><li>Previous experience in designing Healthcare, Commercial, Higher Education and Laboratory projects is a plus</li><li>PE License strongly preferred&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p>BR+A is a place to learn, to grow, to work hard for clients that matter &ndash; and to be part of something bigger.
