    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>We are hiring Software Engineers to support a Peraton program. This is a remote position,</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>What you'll do:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop technical solutions to complex problems.</li>\n <li>Support the development and/or sustainment of a software development environment that covers the entire Software Development Lifecycle using current methodologies to include Continuous Deployment, Agile, and Development Operations (DevOps).</li>\n <li>Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs applications software.</li>\n <li>Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with cross-functional engineering and development teams in the planning, design, development, and utilization of Cloud-based capabilities for the development, modification, and deployment of commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS) software.</li>\n <li>Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. </li>\n <li>Confers with systems analysts, engineers, and cross-functional teams to design software and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. </li>\n <li>Designs, develops, and modifies software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. </li>\n <li>Coordinates software testing and deployment to ensure specifications are met. </li>\n <li>Assist the Scrum Master and Scrum Team in providing technical expertise in executing contract deliverables. </li>\n <li>Provide support to the Chief Enterprise Architect, Release Train Engineer, Senior Leadership, and the client with regards to software development best practices. </li>\n <li>Support Quality Assurance and Quality Control verification within all applicable phases of software development to assure all actions are completed in accordance with appropriate policy, standards, and procedures. </li>\n <li>Ensure the quality of all services and deliverables across the contract. </li>\n <li>Ensure high customer satisfaction and compliance with all government and corporate policies</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>What you'll need: </p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7 or HS+14</li>\n   <li>U.S. Citizenship</li>\n   <li>Ability to obtain a  DoD Secret clearance</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Working knowledge of AWS ecosystem & implement cloud-native software solutions on AWS</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience working with Relational & NoSQL Databases. (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Dynamodb)</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience working with MUI (Material UI) and USWDS style sheets.</li>\n <li>Must be proactive and able to perform in a fast-paced Agile environment providing timely deliverables</li>\n <li>Strong Problem-solving skills, Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li>\n <li>Ability to effectively communicate technical information</li>\n <li>Experience in manipulating JSON and XML payloads to conform pre-defined XSD schemas</li>\n <li>Experience with REACT (familiar with <strong>Module Federation</strong>and component library experience such as Storybook is a bonus.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Spring Boot API, & API Integration gateways (Java, and or JS), experience with Node.js is a bonus.</li>\n <li>Experience with Backend Data Integration (SQL such as Postgres, and Data Connection Elements)</li>\n <li>Experience taking direction from an Infrastructure, or Data Architect.</li>\n <li>Experience (not a SME, just some understanding) with Gitlab, CI/CD Pipelines and preferably DoD DEVSECOPs</li>\n <li>Experience with AGILE, and SCRUM</li>\n <li><strong>At least some Experience with ECS, Docker, Fargate, or EC2, and Kubernetes</strong></li>\n <li>Experience AWS GovCloud and DoD/DoW SRG approved Cloud software and AWS Services</li>\n <li>Optional skills could include but not required: Sonarcube, Postman and or Swagger, Unit Tests, and code vulnerability scanning.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
