Join us as a <strong>ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER </strong>and play a pivotal role in our dynamic world of heavy civil construction!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are currently accepting applications to support multiple projects in <strong>Nevada.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Rotation</strong>:   Project dependent, most commonly 14/7</p>\n<p><strong>Shift</strong>:         12 Hours (Days and Nights)</p>\n<p><strong>Lodging </strong></p>\n<p><strong>& Food: </strong>    Lodging OR Living / Subsistence Allowance will be provided. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pre-Employment Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Successful completion of <strong>Alcohol and Drug Screening</strong></li>\n <li>MSHA Part 48</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>All Morgan Field Based Workers and Equipment Operators must</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Be physically conditioned to repetitively and safely lift up to 50lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Work a rotational schedule, up to 12 hours a day, for both day or night shifts as required and subject to change depending on project needs. </li>\n <li>Expect to handle noise and vibrations on the job.</li>\n <li>Be prepared for and willing to perform additional labour duties as / when required.</li>\n <li>Embrace the elements by working outdoors in all weather conditions. Whether it's rain, shine, or snow, you'll need to thrive in diverse weather environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide assistance within the corporate safety program to maintain excellence in safety performance.</li>\n <li>Assist with the establishment and administration of performance measurement systems to meet client service and contract expectations.</li>\n <li>Assist with contract administration, including change order management, dispute resolution, contract review, annual contract performance evaluations, and quarterly contract review stewardships.</li>\n <li>Work closely with site superintendents and their field supervisors to achieve project goals.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all company and subcontractor relationships and operations meet any applicable industry and regulatory standards while ensuring all gaps are closed in relation to risk reduction plans.</li>\n <li>Identify and coordinate projects and production to ensure maximum resource utilization and adherence to budget and schedule.</li>\n <li>Assist with the application of corporate quality system including Requests for Information.</li>\n <li>Resolve issues as they arise with internal and external clients while maintaining positive working relationships.</li>\n <li>Champion our safety culture by adhering to Morgan's Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies by demonstrating a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintain awareness of the surrounding environment and potential hazards, such as other equipment or personnel. Perform JSA and FLHA’s as required.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate exceptional judgement and problem solving skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstrating versatility in collaborating effectively with team members and independently taking ownerships of tasks.</li>\n <li>Operate 2-way radio</li>\n <li>Other duties as / when assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience / Qualification Requirements</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our ideal candidates will have:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Post-Secondary technical training. Experience in the civil construction industry is a strong asset</li>\n <li>Intermediate skills in MS Office, MS Project, or similar software programs.</li>\n <li>Ability to form strong working relationships with diverse groups of people, including company employees at all levels, clients, and stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Team Player with the desire to grow into a strong leader in the heavy civil construction industry</li>\n <li>Ability to successfully manage heavy workloads with multiple priorities.</li>\n <li>Have or be willing to obtain OSHA 10-Construction and OSHA 40 Hazwoper certifcates if required by the project scope</li>\n <li><strong>Minimum of 2 years experience </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About Morgan:</strong></p>\n<p>Over the past 40+ years, Morgan has completed over 5400 heavy civil projects.
