Our Weight Loss Center, a part of the Southcoast Physicians Group comprising over 800 providers and continuing to grow, exemplifies our commitment to excellence in patient care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Southcoast Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physician to join our esteemed team consisting of 4 Physicians supported by 6 Advanced Practice Practitioners.  The successful candidate will contribute to our tradition of practice excellence and play a pivotal role in advancing patient care in our community.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct evaluations to diagnose clinical obesity, addressing its multifactorial nature with compassionate, patient-centered approach.</li>\n <li>Treat obesity as a chronic disease with evidence-based, personalized plans integrating medical, nutritional, behavioral and emotional care.</li>\n <li>Ensuring each patient receives high-quality care.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage obesity-related conditions and comorbidities.</li>\n <li>Conduct in person consultations at our Fall River, Wareham & Hyannis locations</li>\n <li>Provide virtual consultations.</li>\n <li>Educate patients on the science and complexities of obesity emphasizing a supportive environment.</li>\n <li>Currently using EPIC for all patient interactions.</li>\n <li>Document treatment plans and progress notes in accordance with practice protocols.</li>\n <li>Participate in community outreach and educational events to highlight awareness and guidance on nutrition and obesity care.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical degree from an accredited institution.</li>\n <li>Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine</li>\n <li>Preference will be given to candidates certified in obesity medicine (ABOM)</li>\n <li>Experience in providing care for patients with obesity & related conditions</li>\n <li>Current state medical license and DEA registration.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and effective communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary with productivity-based incentives.</li>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits package including: 41 days PTO and 6% match on retirement after 2 years.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Malpractice coverage of $2M / $6M.</li>\n <li>Opportunity for relocation assistance/sign-on bonus.</li>\n <li>Not for profit, under-served community site brings opportunities for loan forgiveness.</li>\n <li>Continuing medical education (CME) allowance and paid time off.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $235,000.00 - USD $350,000.00 /Yr.",
