Job Description: Under the direction of a Program Manager and working within an interdisciplinary mental health and addiction team, the Community Mental Health Nurse will provide a range of clinical services to a population of acute and persistent mental health disordered children, youth and their families. The Community Mental Health Nurse will use clinical knowledge and interpersonal skills in all aspects of professional practice pertinent to the Psychiatric Nursing Discipline. The incumbent will provide clinical nursing skills in the development and maintenance of community mental health treatment programs, and adhere to nursing practice standards.

2yrs. (postgrad) recognized exp. in a CMH setting working w/ children & families
Education
Graduate from school of general nursing with training in psychiatric nursing
Graduation from an approved school of psychiatric nursing
Other Education and Training
Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
