If you want to grow your career in a progressive, team-oriented environment, apply today!</p><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong><u>About the Job :</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Operating in a Northern British Columbia mining environment on a two week in / two week out, twelve hour per day shift rotation, the Health, Safety, &amp; Emergency Response Coordinator will work under the direction of the Health &amp; Safety Superintendent. Primary responsibilities will include assist with the development, implementation, training, and management of our operations comprehensive Health &amp; Safety and Emergency Response Programs.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong><u>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of safety policies and procedures and site rules pertaining to a Northern BC underground mining and ore processing operation.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Establish professional relationships to ensure compliance by all management, supervisors, and employees with British Columbia regulatory and company requirements as they relate to the safe and healthy operation of the mine site.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Support the department to maintain site emergency response capabilities, including delivery of training material and maintenance of emergency response equipment in accordance with a planned maintenance schedule.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Identify and anticipate health &amp; safety concerns and hazards by surveying environmental, operational and occupational conditions; investigate violations &amp; recommend evidence based preventative measures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Conduct and create training and communication for management and staff using internal and external resources on health &amp; safety.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Lead incident investigations identifying root causes and assisting in the development of meaningful corrective actions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Strong and engaging presenter with exceptional communication, facilitation &amp; training skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Analytical and strategic skills to identify best practice approaches to the design and implementation of health &amp; safety programs and to contribute to the development and achievement of the Company&rsquo;s objectives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Performs tasks related to the Industrial Hygiene program including sampling and surveys as directed.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong><u>Required Qualifications &amp; Skills:</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 25.450000000000003px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">BC Mine Supervisor certificate (or ability to attain)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Experience with root cause analysis methodologies.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Registration or eligibility for registration as an NCSO or CRST.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">ICS 100, 200, or 300</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Supervisory skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Excellent written and oral communication skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Excellent computer skills (Microsoft office 365 suite of applications).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Ability to work without direct supervision.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong><u>Additional Information:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Willing to work a two-week rotation schedule, with 12-hour shifts per day at a remote camp.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Eligible to participate in a monthly bonus program.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Our current designated marshalling locations are Vancouver, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Calgary, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Teslin, and Watson Lake.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><em>It is the policy of Coeur Mining, Inc. and its direct and indirect United States subsidiaries (the &ldquo;Company&rdquo;) to provide equal opportunity employment to all Employees and applicants for employment.
