The Inventory Clerk role works to uphold the standards of quality assurance and accuracy throughout all processes in a clerical setting. In this role, you will work closely with your floor manager, team leads, and fellow associates. This seat is expected to be eager to learn new things, be a team player, and be ready to find out of the box solutions. This position handles and manages any clerical duties related to the Inventory Control department.</div><div><b>What You’ll Do:</b> </div><ul><li>Work towards upholding the standards of<span> </span><a href=\"http://cart.com/\" target=\"_blank\">Cart.com</a><span> </span>and ensuring accuracy in all inventory processes</li><li>Interact and communicate with individuals across various departments in the organization to resolve root causes</li><li>Ensure inventory accuracy throughout the receiving, put away, and returns processes</li><li>Conduct accurate cycle counts and audits of inventory locations per handheld device/forms in the warehouse and make system updates as required</li><li>Research and locate missing product</li><li>Handle special projects as assigned by management</li><li>Basic computer work, knowledge and skills: Word, Excel, Outlook email</li></ul><div><b>Who You Are:</b> </div><ul><li>Able to work independently and in a team environment</li><li>Ability to read and utilize matching skills and comprehend department/product documentation</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Basic computer, data entry, and analysis skills</li><li>Ability to operate computer systems with minimal direction after receiving training</li><li>Ability to research defects and issues to determine root causes and drivers of those defects</li><li>Ability to meet established standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis</li></ul><div><b>What You’ve Done:</b> </div><ul><li>Previous warehouse experience </li><li>RF gun or other handheld device experience</li></ul><div><b>Nice to Haves: </b> </div><ul><li>Previous Inventory experience</li></ul><div><b>Physical Demands &amp; Working Conditions:  </b> </div><ul><li>Able to withstand constant physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.).</li><li>Able to be on your feet all day</li><li>Able to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. on occasion (document boxes, files, binders, and other items)</li><li>Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time</li><li>Able to work overtime</li><li>Constant exposure to adverse conditions such as dust, noise, fumes, weather, poor lighting, or heavy machinery/equipment</li></ul></div><p></p><p>Cart.com<span> is an equal opportunity employer.
