Take vital signs, height and weight, intake and output, pulse oximetry, and collect specimens</li>\n <li>Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations</li>\n <li>Assist with patient activities and care as assigned by the charge nurse/designee as indicated by the patient’s plan of care</li>\n <li>Provide for superficial wound care</li>\n <li>Provide for patient safety related to age and condition</li>\n <li>Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records at all times</li>\n <li>Provide and maintain a clean, safe environment and perform and/or assist others to perform proper aseptic technique, isolation procedures, and infection control measures</li>\n <li>Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of the patient</li>\n <li>Safe handling of food preparation for patients</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Other Job Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare patients and chaperone during examinations/procedures or assists with other patient treatments</li>\n <li>Maintain patient care areas with appropriate supplies</li>\n <li>Assist with patient restraints and maintain precautions; collect, report and document data related to patient needs/emergencies and unusual patient and family behavior</li>\n <li>Travel to all facility locations as required</li>\n <li>Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Lead Tech responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with maintaining staff schedule and adequate staffing levels for the Emergency Technician and Patient Care Assistant roles within the assigned facility</li>\n <li>Assist Hospital Administrator with Patient Safety Audits</li>\n <li>Assist with the onboarding of new Emergency Room Technicians and Patient Care Assistants as needed</li>\n <li>Responsible for, in conjunction with Hospital Administrators and Market Leadership, ordering hospital/clinical supplies, receiving hospital/clinical supplies and maintaining ENVY system</li>\n <li>Responsible for, in conjunction with Hospital Administrators and Market Leadership, Supply, Purchase Order and Missed Items tracking</li>\n <li>Responsible for being the liaison between the facility and Linen agency</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Basic Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED and completion of one of the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Completion of Medical Corpsman program and one year of applicable experience (or) </li>\n   <li>Completion of EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-P course/program and one year of applicable experience (or)</li>\n   <li>Completion of the first year of education and current enrollment in an accredited School of Nursing and one year of applicable experience (or)</li>\n   <li> 2+ years of emergency room experience as an ER Technician or hospital equivalent experience</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS certification, preferred</li>\n <li>Experience with IV start, phlebotomy, and initiation of EKG, preferred</li>\n <li>Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication</li>\n</ul>",
