    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Under general supervision, is responsible for picking, packing and shipping of all inbound and outbound shipments along with the duties associated with shipment preparation. The incumbent prepares bills of lading for freight carriers, assists in loading trucks and obtains signatures on shipments. Responsible for counting & recording material to ensure accuracy of shipment and receipt; performs related duties as required.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li> Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment</li>\n <li>Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability</li>\n <li>Assists in the handling of materials and items from receiving area to designated bin locations</li>\n <li>Facilitates outbound shipments using proper packing methods and 3rd party delivery services</li>\n <li>Fulfills orders that are ready for shipment via will call, delivery or install</li>\n <li>Receive and unpack materials and supplies</li>\n <li>Report damages and discrepancies to request reimbursement or re-shipment</li>\n <li>Maintain logs of all shipments outgoing and incoming</li>\n <li>Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes accordingly</li>\n <li>Allocates product to appropriate rack, shelf or bin location according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, brand or product code</li>\n <li>Prepare monthly production and volume reports in order to measure productivity and prepare billing charges</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong><u>May possibly perform any of the following functions at the direction of management:</u></strong></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Handle hazardous materials</li>\n <li>Effectively maneuvers through computer system in order to perform specified duties</li>\n <li>Assists with execution of weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity</li>\n <li>Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages</li>\n <li>Posts weights and shipping charges and affixes postage</li>\n <li>Marks materials with identifying information</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Minimum 1 year of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or production experience</li>\n <li>Experienced operating power tool equipment including but not limited to cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jack, etc. </li>\n <li>Previous experience with material handling is required</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of scanning equipment, internal database tracking system, dollies and carts</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills </li>\n <li>Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance are a must</li>\n <li>Ability to work overtime & meet deadlines</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Physical activity required including bending, reaching, lifting and prolonged periods of sitting or standing</p>\n<p>May lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.</p>\n<p>Experience operating power tool equipment</p>\n<p>If required to operate a forklift, must be forklift certified and be able to use hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p>\n<p>Competitive pay & benefits!</p>\n<p>Comprehensive training and development programs that prepare employees to advance from within.</p>\n<p>A company focused on creating a positive work and client environment.</p>\n<p>Employee discounts on entertainment, products, and services nationwide!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>COME JOIN OUR TEAM!</strong></p>",
