Our state-of-the-art facility in downtown Orlando provides comprehensive specialty and subspecialty services, including one of the region's premier pediatric neurosurgery programs.</p>\n<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<p>We are seeking an exceptional board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Neurosurgeon to join our distinguished team. This position offers the opportunity to provide advanced surgical care to children with complex neurological conditions while working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team in a cutting-edge pediatric facility.</p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform complex pediatric neurosurgical procedures, including cranial and spinal operations for conditions such as brain tumors, hydrocephalus, epilepsy, vascular malformations, craniofacial abnormalities, and congenital malformations.</li>\n <li>Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to pediatric patients and their families</li>\n <li>Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, epilepsy conferences, and case management discussions.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with pediatric neurologists, oncologists, intensivists, and other specialists to deliver coordinated patient care.</li>\n <li>Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Financial Package:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits package includes health, vision, and dental insurance, malpractice coverage, disability coverage, deferred compensation, and matching retirement savings options starting from day one.</li>\n <li>Generous starting bonus.</li>\n <li>Annual CME stipend.</li>\n <li>Eligible employer under the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program.</li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Education: M.D., D.O.</li>\n <li><strong>Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurosurgery Residency</strong></li>\n <li>Fellowship Trained in Pediatric Neurosurgery</li>\n <li>Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurological Surgery</li>\n <li>Unrestricted FL Medical License (on the ability to obtain one) and DEA</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Facility Description</h2>\n<p><strong>Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Providing comprehensive medical, surgical and emergency care to the children, teenagers and young adults of Central Florida for more than 30 years, Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is a nationally recognized and trusted name in children’s healthcare.
