Our unique footprint allows us to provide a diverse range of products and services across many industries, and across the country.</p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES for Diesel Technicians</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Diesel Technicians performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.</li>\r\n\t<li>Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair on diesel Trucks or equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.</li>\r\n\t<li>Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.</li>\r\n\t<li>Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.</li>\r\n\t<li>Diesel Technician will documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.</li>\r\n\t<li>Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.</li>\r\n\t<li>Diesel Technician will participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.</li>\r\n\t<li>Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.</li>\r\n\t<li>Supervises work of any apprentice diesel technicians as assigned.</li>\r\n\t<li>Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensures that customers' vehicles are kept clean. Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.</li>\r\n\t<li>Keeps shop area neat and clean for your safety and safety of other diesel technicians.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
