Description Mission Support and Test Services LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Sites (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Our MISSION is to help ensure the security of the United States and its allies by providing high-hazard experimentation and incident response capabilities through operations, engineering, education, field, and integration services and by acting as environmental stewards to the Site’s Cold War legacy. Our VISION is to be the user site of choice for large-scale, high-hazard, national security experimentation, with premier facilities and capabilities below ground, on the ground, and in the air. Responsibilities Reports to the Manager of the Radioactive Waste Program and is primarily responsible for stakeholder coordination for EM NV scope including but not limited to: Key Responsibilities Soliciting, organizing, and coordinating stakeholder involvement in EM Nevada funded scope such as the Radioactive Waste Program, the Underground Test Area project, Environmental Restoration, and long-term monitoring. Includes working at the direction of EM Nevada to coordinate and schedule the involvement of the various stakeholders that include state and local elected officials, emergency management officials, state and local regulators, and the NNSS Advisory Board. Organizing, planning, and leading Low Level Waste Stakeholder Meetings and Waste Generator Workshops including coordination of agendas, soliciting content from multiple stakeholders, developing presentations, coordinating attendance, and facilitating meetings. Also includes planning and budgeting for each event and tracking associated costs. Arranging Radioactive Waste Program facility tours by various stakeholders on behalf of EM Nevada to include coordinating EM-requested tours through the MSTS Protocol Office. Coordinating with MSTS Public Affairs to support EM Nevada-related Communication Products (Photos, Video, Presentations)/Data as requested by EM Nevada. Developing documents and reports required or requested via data calls from DOE EM NV, DOE HQ, NDEP, and NNSA regarding the waste disposal program and other EM-funded projects. Procuring, organizing, and operating the Radioactive Waste Program booth at the Annual Waste Management Symposia, including managing the costs associated with the conference, and scheduling booth participants. Generating other EM Nevada communications as requested as it relates to the EM mission. Includes preparing presentations for other conferences, workshops, stakeholder meetings, and regulatory meetings. Also includes authoring external communications to be issued by EM Nevada. Assisting Project and Program Managers in the development of annual deliverables for programming and task planning Responding to requests for information and technical requests from the DOE EM and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) personnel as needed. Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Qualifications Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions. Bachelor’s degree in related field and at least 12 years of professional level experience, or equivalent training and experience. Demonstrated skill to plan, organize, lead, and monitor a wide variety of team efforts to their successful completion. The ability to “multi-task” and work independently in a dynamic environment while balancing and prioritizing a heavy workload. Demonstrated leadership qualities with an emphasis on continuous improvement and team building, and the ability to exercise a high degree of judgment and discretion. Able to utilize independent judgment, creativity, and initiative to resolve problems and ensure that requirements are completed efficiently, on time, and are cost-effective. Able to prioritize and schedule multiple activities of the division. Able to communicate with all types of people in a tactful, professional, influencing, motivating, and effective manner while screening and maintaining confidentiality. Able to understand and remember complex data, policies, procedures, laws, regulations, terminology, schedules, personnel, and other details. Able to deal with pressure of handling multiple tasks, complains, frequent interruptions, and time constraints. Able to read/write/speak English. Knowledge of basic math, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Familiar with software applications used in the position. Work Location will be North Las Vegas, Nevada. Work schedule will be 4/10s Monday through Thursday (subject to change). Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain a HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential under the Department of Energy Order 206.2, ‘Identity, Credential, and Access Management,’ and Supplemental Directive NNSA SD 206.2, ‘Implementation of Personal Identity Verification for Uncleared Contractors.’ MSTS is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Includes working at the direction of EM Nevada to coordinate and schedule the involvement of the various stakeholders that include state and local elected officials, emergency management officials, state and local regulators, and the NNSS Advisory Board.</li><li>Organizing, planning, and leading Low Level Waste Stakeholder Meetings and Waste Generator Workshops including coordination of agendas, soliciting content from multiple stakeholders, developing presentations, coordinating attendance, and facilitating meetings. Also includes planning and budgeting for each event and tracking associated costs.</li><li>Arranging Radioactive Waste Program facility tours by various stakeholders on behalf of EM Nevada to include coordinating EM-requested tours through the MSTS Protocol Office. &nbsp;</li><li>Coordinating with MSTS Public Affairs to support EM Nevada-related Communication Products (Photos, Video, Presentations)/Data as requested by EM Nevada.</li><li>Developing documents and reports required or requested via data calls from DOE EM NV, DOE HQ, NDEP, and NNSA regarding the waste disposal program and other EM-funded projects.</li><li>Procuring, organizing, and operating the Radioactive Waste Program booth at the Annual Waste Management Symposia, including managing the costs associated with the conference, and scheduling booth participants.</li><li>Generating other EM Nevada communications as requested as it relates to the EM mission.&nbsp;Includes preparing presentations for other conferences, workshops, stakeholder meetings, and regulatory meetings. Also includes authoring external communications to be issued by EM Nevada.</li><li>Assisting Project and Program Managers in the development of annual deliverables for programming and task planning</li><li>Responding to requests for information and technical requests from the DOE EM and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) personnel as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.</li></ul>",
