    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Summary:</strong></p><p>Keeps all public facilities in a neat and clean condition. Public area attendant promotes a positive image of the site to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests&nbsp;and problems.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Cleans interior of buildings, outside site spaces and restrooms.</li><li>Empties ashtrays and urns.</li><li>Cut wood and keep fires going on site</li><li>Polishes furniture and fixtures.</li><li>Keeps the front of the building and site&nbsp;free from trash.</li><li>Washes walls and ceilings, moves and arranges furniture.</li><li>Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.</li><li>Dust&nbsp;and polishes metal work.</li><li>To perform daily assigned tasks in toilets, buildings, trash, sites, etc.</li><li>To clean and maintain all equipment daily.</li><li>To follow up a special cleaning program</li><li>To report maintenance issues to supervisor immediately.</li><li>To assist Guest in Public Areas when required.</li><li>To have good knowledge of all facilities, hours of operation, Restaurants, shops and function rooms.</li><li>Post caution signs as and when required.</li><li>Responsible to follow departmental policies and procedures.</li><li>Responsible for upkeep of all the equipment which he is using i.e., Vacuum cleaner, trolleys, Scrubbing machine.</li><li>Responsible for maintaining a time schedule for cleaning of their areas.</li><li>Responsible for spring/winter cleaning of their area as per the schedule is given to them.</li><li>Any other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements &amp; Work Environment:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat.</li><li>Prolonged periods of standing.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times.</li><li>Must be able to swing an ax and cut wood</li><li>Ability to communicate in English to our associates and guests. &nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.</li><li>Ability to work in an unheated building.</li><li>Willing to live in a remote, rural community&nbsp;</li><li>Comfortable traveling by small plane or ferry to and from a remote setting</li><li>Able to walk and/or drive on gravel roads in inclement weather</li><li>In Season, the hours can be extended. &nbsp;</li></ul><p>Icy Strait Point is a Native-owned and operated enterprise and offers Native Preference under P.O. 93-638. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p></div></div>\n",
