This position is remote.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: </span><br><br></span><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif\"><span>In support of a Military Program supporting non-medical counseling intended for situations that do not require clinical mental health treatment. Common topics include:</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Relationship and Family: Marital/couples conflicts, parenting skills, and communication.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Military Transitions: Challenges related to deployment, reintegration, and Permanent Change of Station (PCS) moves.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Personal Stress: Stress and anger management, grief and loss, and general adjustment difficulties.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Life Goals: Decision-making, personal goal setting, and coping with phase-of-life changes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Financial Stress: Navigating money-related pressures or financial concerns.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Further responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Provide private, confidential, non-medical counseling utilizing a short-term, solution focused counseling model for eligible participants.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Non-medical counseling services are available to all Service members and their families as specified by Military Program eligibility requirements. The Program does not provide clinical mental health counseling, treatment, and/or therapy.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 18px\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 18px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span>Must be a U.S citizen and speak fluent English.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span>In some areas of the U.S and its territories the non-medical counselors must be fluent in Spanish as necessary.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span>Master’s degree from an accredited graduate program in a mental health related field such as social work, psychology, marriage/family therapy, or counseling.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span>Current, valid, unrestricted counseling license/certification from a State, D.C., a U.S. Commonwealth, or a U.S. Territory that grants the authority to provide counseling services as an independent practitioner in their respective fields.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Demonstrated counseling competence preceding their agreement to perform under the Military contract.<br></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Counselors will pass criminal history, fingerprint, and credential review/verification meeting at least the requirements of DODI 1402.05, and successfully passed a DoD-initiated Tier 1 Suitability Investigation.  Must be a US Citizen and fluent English speaker.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Min.
