    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>A lovely family of three in Brooklyn is seeking a fantastic daytime Newborn Care Specialist to care for their infant daughter, born in April. The schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm, but the family is happy to have the NCS work weekends as well if they desire. The family lives in a 4th floor brownstone, so candidates must be comfortable with stairs, though all of the baby supplies (stroller, etc.) are stored on the first floor. There is a lot of flexibility in the length of contract- the family is open to someone amazing who is only available for a month or two, or they are happy to do a longer (4-7) month contract. This position starts ASAP!  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Handle all infant care, including managing sleep and feeding schedules</li>\n <li>Wash bottles and sanitizing toys </li>\n <li>Keep baby spaces organized and tidy</li>\n <li>Monitor nursery inventory and working with parents to maintain supplies </li>\n <li>Communicating with first-time parents about milestones and development</li>\n <li>Provide expertise and recommendations, while also working as a team with parents and night NCS</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledgeable about infant development</li>\n <li>Warm, kind, and loving </li>\n <li>Professional and communicative</li>\n <li>Able to work around a WFH parent</li>\n <li>Adaptable and flexible- able to educate but also collaborate, with an understanding that there many different ways to get to the same goal</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>US work authorization</li>\n <li>At least 5 years of experience as an NCS</li>\n <li>Excellent communicator</li>\n <li>CPR/First Aid certified</li>\n <li>Up-to-date on infant vaccines including TDap, flu, and Covid</li>\n <li>Excellent verifiable references</li>\n <li>Must live locally to NYC as this is a live out role</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary and Benefits</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>$500-600+/day for 8 hour shift, $50-60+/hr. </li>\n</ul>",
