Thanks to our solid market standing and experienced team, we're seeking a motivated National Account Salesperson to help further grow and strengthen our national accounts program. Job Overview: As the National Account Salesperson, you'll work closely with teams in operations, service, marketing, finance/accounting, and field sales to build strong relationships with top national account clients. Your responsibilities will include increasing sales, providing high-quality account management, and designing strategic growth plans to ensure lasting business partnerships and increased profitability. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sales Planning: Develop, execute, and facilitate a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s growth and profitability objectives aligned with market trends. Partner with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities, target markets, and potential partnerships. Analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies and tactics as needed. Ensure consistent sales forecasting, pipeline management, and accurate reporting. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive long-term business growth. Support the sales team in negotiating contracts and closing deals, ensuring the best possible outcomes for both the company and the customer. Leverage CRM tools and processes to enhance customer engagement and sales effectiveness. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to align sales efforts with broader company goals and strategies. Provide feedback and insights to product and service teams to improve offerings based on customer needs and market demand. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or industry experience/or related sales experience. 3-5+ years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the B2B national/key accounts space. Proficient at finding, developing, and growing profitable national account customers/relationships. Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead by influence and build strong relationships at all levels. Knowledge of the commercial paving or construction industry is strongly preferred but not required. Ability to travel up to 50%. What We Offer: Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
