Together, we are EXP.</p><p><br><strong>Are you ready to design your future?</strong></p><p><br>Be our next <strong>Sr. Roadway Designer!</strong></p><p><br><strong>Your work environment at EXP</strong></p><p><br>In this role, you will be a part of the&nbsp;Transportation&nbsp;team, based in&nbsp;Ontario&nbsp;and have the opportunity to work on the&nbsp;various projects.&nbsp;</p><p><br><strong>What a day at EXP has in store for you</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare preliminary design reports (PDR), design criteria, preliminary and detailed designs associated with new and/or the rehabilitation of divided highways, arterial regional roads, collector roads, and local roads.</li><li>Prepare preliminary designs for CADD staff and review drawings for compliance with applicable industry and client standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare Contract Specifications, Tender Documents, and Applications for Agency Approvals.</li><li>Review and issue finalized Shop Drawings.</li><li>Coordinate and mentor junior staff working within the division.</li><li>Liaise with Clients, Sub-consultants, Contractors and construction supervision staff.</li><li>Assist with the preparation of Proposals for future projects.<br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>What your experience looks like</strong></p><ul><li>Emphasis and proficiency with Microstation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, Civil 3D. Experience with earlier versions of Microstation and InRoads will be considered.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong computer software skills with ProjectWise, Word, Excel &amp; MS Project.&nbsp;</li><li>Highly proficient in the use of MTO’s software applications CPS and HiCo.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge with MTO and Metrolinx standards, including various Municipal &amp; Regional design and drafting standards.</li><li>Skilled in cost estimating, quantity preparation and specification writing.</li><li>Have a track record of gaining approval of infrastructure designs from MTO, roads authorities and environmental agencies.</li><li>Independent, Organized and Motivated Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and deliver projects under stringent schedules in a fast-paced turnaround environment.</li><li>At least 10 years of experience. &nbsp;</li></ul><p>This job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization</p><p><br>The salary range for this role is between&nbsp;$70k-$92K.
