(DBF), our CAD Technicians play an essential supporting role in the production of a variety of infrastructure designs. Our CAD Technicians help to enhance, maintain, and protect the communities we work, live, and play in. Our mission is to improve the quality of life in our communities by creating value through problem-solving and design.</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">In this role, we are looking for an individual who is a problem-solver, driven and reliable; one who will identify opportunities to improve the quality of work and services, and participate in their implementation. This position will include, but not be limited to, assisting and providing support to various departments throughout the firm with the design, drafting, and development of construction drawings for infrastructure and residential projects including water, wastewater, stormwater, and streets. Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD is required for the position.</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">DBF’s portfolio includes projects of a wide variety, so if you are looking to expand your repertoire and improve your abilities, this position is the perfect fit for you. No hybrid or remote work is available at this time. </span><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(52, 73, 94); text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Utilize the latest design software to accurately render and communicate design, plans, and other necessary related systems and structures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Perform analyses and calculations according to project requirements. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Coordinate with engineers and surveyors regarding model accuracy, drafting standards, and design documentation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Prepare project documentation for client submittal. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Use feedback to modify existing designs and develop solutions. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Provide timely technical assistance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">Handle multiple projects and/or tasks simultaneously.</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(52, 73, 94); text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">EDUCATION &amp; SKILLS</span></span><br><span style=\"font-family: helvetica\">The candidate should possess a high-school diploma or GED. The preferred candidate will have general knowledge of basic site design including grading and drainage and erosion control design.
