Description

The Director, Accounting Special Projects will serve as a senior project leader across the Accounting organization. This person will coordinate cross-functional and cross-advisor workstreams, drive accountability across deadlines, and convert ambiguous transformation needs into executable plans, documented processes, and measurable outcomes. The role requires strong accounting judgment, project management discipline, executive communication, and a vision for operational improvement. Fervo is scaling rapidly, so this role requires strong ownership, crisp communication, a controls mindset, and the ability to partner effectively across Accounting, Finance, Operations, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Commercial, and external advisors. This role will report directly into the CAO organization and will help build the operating model needed for Fervo's next stage of growth.
