With precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to craftsmanship, you are an essential part of the production process—helping UDHG deliver high-performance door solutions that meet rigorous industry standards.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<li><strong>Grinding & Finishing </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Grind and finish welded frames</li>\n <li>Perform quality control inspections of finished framed while staging</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Staging & Material Handling </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Staging of completed work</li>\n <li>Assist loading crew in locating and staging of completed work</li>\n <li>Pulling/Staging of stock material to be welded</li>\n <li>Putting incoming stock into racks and shelves</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Safety    </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment</li>\n <li>Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment</li>\n <li>Use proper lifting techniques</li>\n <li>Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Physical Requirements </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation  </li>\n <li>Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds, using proper lifting procedures; and occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying greater weights.  Pushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces.  Some functions may be performed as a team</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Miscellaneous </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Support our values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or GED required</li>\n <li>Vocational or technical training in machining or tool and dye making preferred</li>\n <li>Certifications preferred:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS)</li>\n  <li>OSHA safety certification</li>\n  <li>AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Reports To</u></strong></p>\n<p>Director of Distribution</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Compensation </u></strong></p>\n<p>The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
