Hires, fires, disciplines, and documents performance</li>\n <li>Developing project schedules. Defining and assigning work to engineers assigned to program</li>\n <li>Monitoring and controlling work in progress for technical adequacy and provides active assistance to meet schedules or resolve complex technical or customer requirements</li>\n <li>Representing the company as the primary customer contact on assigned engineering contracts or programs</li>\n <li>Providing programmatic direction to organizational elements executing processes required to provide products and services that meet contract quality, performance, schedule, and cost requirements</li>\n <li>Establishing metrics and monitors progress to assure contract compliance, customer satisfaction, and attainment of company commitments and objectives. Reports progress to appropriate levels of management</li>\n <li>Providing functional and technical guidance to engineering staff and management</li>\n <li>May perform as a project lead on advanced specialized projects or in resolution of technical problems that would critically impact performance, schedule, or cost</li>\n <li>Developing new customer contacts and conceptualizes solutions to customer problems thatlead to new business for the corporation</li>\n <li>Actively identifies additional/expanded tasking with existing customers and defines technical requirements for draft statements of work</li>\n <li>Developing proposals for new business opportunities including definition of scope, schedule, and cost</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>#LI-DH1</em></p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have a degree in a related technical field -- Bachelor's degree and twelve (12) years of experience or a master's degree and ten (10) years as a minimum</li>\n <li>The successful candidate will also meet the following minimum criteria:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Experience managing engineering and/or technical efforts and contracts</li>\n   <li>Experience managing financial metrics pertaining to contracts</li>\n   <li>Experience with personnel leadership and customer relationship management</li>\n   <li>Experience with radar electronics, hardware and software design, component displays and controls, system/subsystem layout and design, principles and operations of radar systems, RF subsystem assemblies and applications, radar analysis and modernization, and analog/digital signal processing</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently hold or be immediately eligible to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance with growth to Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance</li>\n <li>Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification</li>\n <li>Experience using Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology</li>\n <li>Understand government contracting, especially fixed price contracts</li>\n <li>Strong business acumen</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Clearance Information</h2>\n<p><strong>SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<h2>Travel Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Some travel required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p>Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
