With the US population aging and preference for care moving to the home, post-acute care (home health, skilled nursing, home care, hospice) is one of the fastest growing verticals within healthcare. Post-acute providers operate across fragmented systems, manual workflows, and reactive processes that create operational drag and financial uncertainty. Claim Health replaces this fragmentation with an intelligent, software-driven platform that unifies data, automates execution, and enables real-time decision-making across revenue-critical operations. About the Role We’re hiring an Operations Associate to help design, build, and scale the core operational processes that power Claim Health. This role is ideal for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in consulting or startup operations who enjoys ambiguity, systems thinking, and working directly with customers. You’ll sit at the intersection of customer success, product, and engineering - owning implementations, tracking key metrics, and turning real-world complexity into scalable, repeatable workflows. What You’ll Do Build & Scale Operational Processes Design and implement operational workflows across customer onboarding, claims-related processes, and ongoing support Document and standardize processes through SOPs, playbooks, and internal tooling Identify operational bottlenecks and work cross-functionally to improve efficiency and reliability Metrics & Operational Insight Define, track, and report on key operational and customer metrics (e.g., implementation timelines, workflow throughput, issue resolution) Build dashboards and lightweight analyses to inform product and operational decisions Use data to identify trends, surface risks, and prioritize improvements Customer-Facing & Implementation Work Work directly with customers during onboarding and implementation to ensure successful adoption of Claim Health Act as a day-to-day operational partner for customers, helping coordinate across internal teams to resolve issues Gather customer feedback and translate it into actionable operational or product enhancements Cross-Functional Execution Support customer implementations from kickoff through go-live and steady state Partner closely with product and engineering to operationalize new features and workflows Serve as the connective tissue between customers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of experience in: Management consulting, operations, or strategy roles, or Product operations / operations roles at an early-stage startup Strong process-building instincts—you enjoy creating structure where none exists Analytical mindset with comfort defining and managing key metrics Experience working directly with customers and owning outcomes end-to-end Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments High ownership mentality and bias toward action Nice to Have Experience with healthcare operations, claims, billing, or revenue cycle workflows Experience supporting SaaS onboarding or implementations Comfort working with data and tools such as SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, or internal dashboards Coding experience (e.g., Python, SQL, scripting) and/or a Computer Science degree Experience working closely with product and engineering teams Why Join Claim Health Real impact: Your work affects mission-critical operations and financial outcomes Ownership: Meaningful equity and influence over the platform’s direction Hard problems: Complex systems, real constraints, no toy use cases Speed: Small team, fast feedback loops, high leverage work.
