    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Purpose:</span></span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">  Project Engineer partners with project management team and superintendent with the day-to-day management of construction activities for designated projects to ensure project goals and objectives are accomplished.  </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Key Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Preparation and coordination of submittals.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Maintain submittal log and timely receipt/review of submittals and shop drawings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Maintain RFI log; provide timely responses to project questions. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Track production on self-performed work; coordinate with team to ensure production goals are being met. </span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Assists in preparing project status reports; attend/participate in project status meetings; assists in development of meeting minutes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Assist with project-close out activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Maintain as-built drawings. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Develops warranty/O&amp;M manuals. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Assists with any estimating activities as assigned. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Assists with updating the project schedule. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Attend weekly progress meetings. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Perform additional assignments as directed. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Qualifications/Experience:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required. </span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to read and interpret drawings. </span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">A high degree of integrity. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Effective interpersonal skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Success factors include being a self-starter, strong work ethic, team player, time management, and organized. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Proficient in Microsoft Office, and P6; Vista experience a plus but not required. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Managed By:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Project Manager</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">KCI is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and affirmative action employer regardless of race, color, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious beliefs, marital status, genetic information, national origin, disability or protection veteran status. </span></p>",
