(PVB), a direct-hire, multi-disciplined industrial construction, and metal fabrication company is seeking a Helper 3 (Core Technician) to support our client's mining geological Core Logging Facility. This position is regulated by Mine Safety &amp; Health Administration (MSHA) but it's not an active mining operation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Type:  Full-Time</p>\n<p>Base Work Location: Tucson, AZ (Near I-10 &amp; Wilmot)</p>\n<p>Hourly Rate: $19.00</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Anticipated start date: 01/19/2026</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Photographing geological core samples</li>\n<li>Moving/Handling geological core samples</li>\n<li>Prepping/Shipping</li>\n<li>Splitting, sampling, and palletizing drill core and other geological material in support of company operations</li>\n<li>Data entry using Microsoft Excel/Word</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> Qualifications (REQUIRED)</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must pass pre-employment substance abuse testing.</li>\n<li>Basic Computer skills</li>\n<li>Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a heavy industrial workplace.</li>\n<li>Must be flexible with schedule and ability to work at various local sites if needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Skills/Abilities</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have knowledge of and experience using Microsoft Office software</li>\n<li>Some travel to other worksites outside of the Tucson area may be required</li>\n<li>Must be able to lift up to 35-50 lbs.</li>\n<li>Must be able to stand for long periods of time</li>\n<li>Ability to effectively communicate in English, both in writing and verbally </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Schedule Must be flexible! </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Four (4) Ten (10) hour days</li>\n<li>Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday (Assigned by the client after hire)</li>\n<li>Schedules are assigned by the client and may change based on production requirements.</li>\n<li>Other potential schedules could include Wednesday-Saturday or Sunday-Wednesday.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Benefits</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Voluntary Benefits such as Medical/Dental/Vision/STD/LTD/Life Insurance</li>\n<li>401(k) retirement program with company match</li>\n<li>8 paid holidays/year</li>\n<li>Paid time off </li>\n</ul>",
