This role ensures effective cost management, cash flow forecasting, and compliance with financial-related financing and governance requirements across the project lifecycle.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The position works closely with project management, engineering, construction, procurement, finance, and executive leadership to support successful delivery of capital renewable energy projects.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead project cost control, budgeting, and forecasting </li>\n <li>Ensure accuracy of cost reporting and financial performance</li>\n <li>Manage change control and contract financial compliance</li>\n <li>Track risk, contingency, and financial exposure</li>\n <li>Provide monthly reporting and decision support</li>\n <li>Improve project controls processes and team capability</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Experience / Qualifications / Education Required</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>5–10 years of construction and/or procurement project controls experience within major capital and infrastructure projects.</li>\n <li>Degree qualification or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying,  Project Management or related field.</li>\n <li>Experience within renewable energy sectors is highly desirable.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Oversee Engineering, Procurement and Construction (\"EPC\"), construction, supplier, and consulting agreements to ensure compliance with financial requirements, budget alignment, and effective cost control across capital projects.</li>\n <li>Ability to work within a dynamic multiple discipline working environment and support in the negotiation and development of EPC agreements, supplier agreements and change management processes.</li>\n <li>Manage commitments, change orders, invoices, and payment applications while supporting claims management and accurate project cost reporting.</li>\n <li>Lead the maintenance of project controls systems and cost reporting to support accurate tracking of project performance and financial outcomes.</li>\n <li>Develop executive-level reports and dashboards while driving continuous improvement in project controls governance, reporting standards, and data integrity.</li>\n <li>Support project financing activities including financial close requirements, lender reporting, funding requests, and cash flow tracking, for renewable energy capital projects.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to support financial compliance and capital forecasting.</li>\n <li>Lead project controls activities for renewable energy capital projects including cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.</li>\n <li>Establish and maintain project budgets, cost baselines, cost control, cash flow forecasts, and contingency tracking throughout the project life cycle.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong organizational and communication skills</li>\n <li>Detail-orientated and analytical focused</li>\n <li>Able to compile month end reports with a focus on movements within the period, reserve     management and overall project cost attestation.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic working environment</li>\n <li>Exposure to basic scheduling and cost baseline fundamentals, concepts, and principles.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent analytical and cost control skills.</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office suite.</li>\n <li>Experience with ERP and project management systems (e.g., Oracle, Power BI, D365, InEight, Procure, SAP) preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience within renewable energy sectors is highly desirable.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Strong and proven understanding of project controls principles, including cost control, forecasting, earned value management (EVM), and project performance reporting. </li>\n</ul>\n<p></p>\n<p>The expected starting pay range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
