    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Salary Range: $36,726 - $59,129 annually</strong></p><p>The purpose of this classification is to install and maintain traffic signs and road markings.<br><br>Essential Functions:<br><br>The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.<br><br>Installs and maintains traffic control signs; removes old signs and posts; responds to emergency calls; maintains daily record of installs and work locations; inspects traffic signs; and performs needed cleaning, repairs, or replacements.<br><br>Installs road markings; operates paint truck to install roadway striping; drives follow-up truck during roadway striping operations; paints and stencils traffic pavement markings; operates spray gun and roller; prepares work site; and mixes and loads paint.<br><br>Maintains office space and equipment; cleans and maintains spray equipment; cleans and maintains vehicles; cleans office space; refills propane tanks; and inventories supplies and equipment<br><br><br><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong><br>High school diploma or GED required; two years of experience in equipment operation or construction/maintenance work; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.</p><p><strong><u>Specific License or Certification Required:</u>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Must process and maintain a valid Georgia Commercial Driver’s License, including appropriate endorsements, or must obtain a valid Georgia Commercial Driver’s License within six months of employment.</p>",
