At ENFRA, stability, innovation, and growth are more than just values—they are the pillars of our continued success.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The HSE Manager is responsible for assisting in the overall supervision and administration of safety for Business Unit projects to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Managing project safety efforts to prevent accidents and injuries while communicating details of safety conditions to the HSE Director and various levels of Business Unit supervision.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Specific responsibilities include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serves as primary point of contact for HSE related policies/practices within assigned region and project sites</li>\n <li>Oversees regional HSE professionals and provides consistent leadership, direction, and motivation in line with company HSE strategy and vision (if applicable)</li>\n <li>Provides HSE subject matter leadership and direction to project leaders (i.e. Superintendent, Forman, etc.) to drive consistent implementation of HSE policies and practices</li>\n <li>Conducts project site assessments to improve effectiveness of HSE policy and practices implementation, employee behaviors, and subcontractor performance and compliance. Documents findings, proposes corrective actions, and communicates results to stakeholders</li>\n <li>Participates in developing and conducting field safety orientation training.</li>\n <li>Observes workers to determine appropriate use of prescribed safety equipment such as glasses helmets, goggles, respirators, and clothing.</li>\n <li>Inspection of specified areas for fire-prevention equipment, first-aid supplies, and other safety devices.</li>\n <li>Tests working areas for hazard exposures (noise, toxic, etc.) using associated testing equipment.</li>\n <li>Investigation of accidents per program procedures to establish root cause for use in recommending preventive safety measures.</li>\n <li>Documenting all accidents, safety violations, unsafe conditions or behavior.</li>\n <li>Assisting in development of standardized job safety analysis (JSA), corporate safety and health management program (SHMP), as well as project specific safety plans (PSSP).</li>\n <li>Conducts safety meetings with workers to instruct them on company/project safety practices and requirements.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates use of equipment and conduct safety training</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h4>Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related technical field.</li>\n <li>7 years of previous construction experience.</li>\n <li>1 year of previous experience as on-site safety person.</li>\n <li>OSHA Outreach Trainer.</li>\n <li>First Aid, CPR, and AED Trainer.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of government regulations, hazard control methods, and industrial hygiene.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to conduct training and influence organizational behavior.</li>\n <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>BCSP certification(s): CSP, ASP, GSP, OHST, CHST</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Travel Requirements</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>25-60% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Physical/Work Environment Requirements</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li>\n <li>Climbing stairs.</li>\n <li>Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.</li>\n <li>Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.</li>\n <li>Quiet environment.</li>\n <li>Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-SB1</p>\n<h2></h2>\n<p>ENFRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
