This entry-level position is focused on following company procedures, recording inspection data, and identifying potential non-conformances. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work closely with production teams to ensure product quality. This position is ideal for individuals looking to begin a career in the medical device industry, with opportunities for growth into more advanced inspection and quality roles.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Principle Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Conduct basic visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products.</li><li>Maintain a positive and professional presence while representing quality assurance with production teams.</li><li>Verify conformance to specifications using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.</li><li>Document inspection results and any defects / non-conformances detected.</li><li>Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics at a basic level.</li><li>Follow company procedures to perform routine quality checks.</li><li>Maintain inspection records and files for traceability and compliance.</li><li>Ensure that inspection equipment is calibrated and properly maintained before use.</li><li>Assist with the identification of non-conforming products and initiate corrective actions under supervision.</li><li>Work with production teams to identify potential areas for improvement and support quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Participate in routine training to develop knowledge of quality systems and inspection techniques.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Qualification Requirements</u></strong></p><p><strong>Credentials/Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>High School diploma or GED</li><li>Strong math skills to work with fractions and decimals in the imperial and metric measurement systems</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Experience/Educational/Training Preferred:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is a plus, but not required</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.).</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.</li><li>Good communication skills to document and report inspection results.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and company procedures.</li><li>Average skill in Microsoft Office, entering data accurately and repeatably.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Other Requirements&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
