Clinical rotations will take place in a variety of health care settings (hospital, long-term care facility, clinic, etc.). The PT clinical instructor would be responsible for overseeing PN (Practical Nursing) students during their clinical rotation as well as evaluating their associated written clinical packet and other assignments.&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">*We are looking for candidates to work from our <strong>Bridgeport, CT&nbsp;<u>AND</u> East Hartford, CT&nbsp;</strong>location*</p>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><em>Fall Semester starts September 2025</em></p>\n\n<p><strong><u>RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></p>\n\n<p><strong><u>Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities</u>:</strong></p>\n\n<p><em>(The essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position.)</em></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Facilitate the clinical experience in acute care, long-term care or clinic settings</li>\n\t<li>Facilitate the clinical experience in the laboratory</li>\n\t<li>Review and provide weekly feedback to students on clinical packets</li>\n\t<li>Complete a midterm and final evaluation for each student</li>\n\t<li>Attend professional development activities to remain informed of current trends and new approaches to instruction/clinical practice</li>\n\t<li>Provide a meaningful pre- and post-clinical conference to enhance student&rsquo;s clinical learning/experience</li>\n\t<li>Become thoroughly familiar with all university policies and procedures and comply with all university policies and procedures</li>\n\t<li>Attend at least one departmental meeting per semester</li>\n\t<li>Support a multicultural environment and embrace the university&#39;s rich diversity</li>\n\t<li>Maintain a professional appearance</li>\n\t<li>Demonstrate professional attitude, philosophy, compassion, and commitment that promotes student growth and learning</li>\n\t<li>Perform all other duties as assigned by the Program Director (LPN)</li>\n\t<li>Conducts all work in a safe manner and all work safety practices are followed</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong><u>Other Functions</u></strong>:</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Performs similar or related work as required, directed or as situation dictates.</li>\n\t<li>Continues professional development and training; keeps current with trends.</li>\n\t<li>Assists other department staff as needed to promote a team effort.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong><u>Knowledge, Ability and Skill</u>:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Demonstrated commitment to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, and work in an environment in which all members of the University community are treated with respect and dignity.</li>\n\t<li>Ability to effectively communicate with clinical partners, colleagues and students.</li>\n</ul>\n",
