You will be ensuring the successful integration and support of customers on our platform. You'll act as a trusted consultant in this growing and high-profile area. You'll learn and implement creative solutions helping customers leverage Akamai's security products and achieve desired outcomes.</p><p>As a Security Consultant II you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Ensuring customer success by understanding requirements, leveraging best practices and offering consulting services that meet customer needs</li><li class=\"lst\">Collaborating with integrated account team to evaluate customer web architecture, develop and deliver long-term security strategy and cloud solutions</li><li class=\"lst\">Working with security experts to solve technical problems, demonstrating Akamai's value, and communicating effectively with all audiences</li><li class=\"lst\">Participating in training and projects contributing to best practices, maximizing efficiency, and improving methodology and service quality</li></ul><p><strong>Do what you love</strong></p><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Have 5 years experience in a customer-facing role within the information technology industry</li><li class=\"lst\">Have excellent communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers</li><li class=\"lst\">Be familiar with security technology, process and concepts, security event management, or security compliance</li><li class=\"lst\">Have knowledge of implementation concepts that deal with web development, IT systems or security practice</li><li class=\"lst\">Demonstrate knowledge of project management concepts and techniques</li><li class=\"lst\">Demonstrate the ability to multitask, adapt and thrive within an ever-changing environment</li></ul><p><strong>Work in a way that works for you</strong></p><p>FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
