          "text": "<p>We have an immediate opening for a AV Commissioning Specialist/AV Field Engineer to join our Los Alamitos, CA office. This key role will be an integral part of a team dedicated to installation and service. We seek individuals with technical aptitude and a great attitude.</p><p><strong>Primary Role</strong></p><p>The primary role of the AV Commissioning Specialist is setting up and commissioning audio-visual equipment for customers.&#xa0; The AV Commissioning Specialist will lead, support, and interact with technicians, programmers, and customers.</p><p><strong>Detailed Activities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform preventative maintenance services, routine testing, and problem diagnosis of integrated systems</li><li>Read and interpret architectural drawings, electronic schematics, and blueprints</li><li>Test point-to-point functionality of systems and confirm signal flow for audio, video, and control</li><li>Review project Scope of Work (SOW) to ensure quality and completeness of installation</li><li>Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting for AMX/Crestron and DSP systems</li><li>Field installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron) – upload and download capability</li><li>Write code for DSP systems</li><li>Make minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer</li><li>Fine tune audio video systems to ensure optimal performance</li><li>Configure IP addressable devices to establish communication on a network</li><li>Perform client training and final job documentation as needed</li><li>Act as a customer liaison in absence of Project Manager</li><li>Create, track, and complete a project Punchlist</li><li>Travel to various job sites required</li><li>Communicate and interact with colleagues and customers in a professional and timely manner</li><li>Write effective business communication and reports</li><li>Utilize test and calibration equipment</li><li>Conduct user acceptance testing</li><li>Conduct basic programming (Crestron/AMX) changes and troubleshoot issues</li><li>Diagnose complex system problems</li><li>Configure IP networking</li><li>Set up workstations (PC) on systems</li><li>Install and integrate innovative AV technologies from manufacturers such as Barco, Biamp, Christie Digital, Crestron, Extron, Middle Atlantic, NVIDIA, Poly, Samsung, Shure, Sony and Microsoft Teams</li><li>Manage multiple projects while adapting to changing priorities</li><li>Work and think independently to ensure deadlines are met</li><li>Exemplify organizational skill and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to regularly climb and work from ladders up to heights of 35 feet; lifting equipment, tools, and materials.</li></ul>",
