Metro area. This role will primarily work out of our office on the Fort Myer military base in Arlington, VA. Our team is primarily responsible for install and retrofit projects related to HVAC mechanical equipment and HVAC Controls (Building Automation Systems) systems, and other relevant equipment and systems. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: windowtext; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: windowtext\">As part of a Fortune 500 company, Johnson Controls Federal Systems (JCFS) is a specialized team serving as a trusted partner to the federal government. Develops project schedules and executes according to plan.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: windowtext\">Supervises the field construction process of assigned projects in accordance with the plans and specifications, to ensure that each phase of the work is completed on schedule, within the budget, and with the quality workmanship expected by the company and the customer </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: windowtext\">Manages budgets and completes forecasting in conjunction with Operations Manager and Regional Manager.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: windowtext\">Manage the selection, scope of work, procurement, quality and payment of project materials, vendors and subcontractors </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: windowtext\">Negotiates, prepares and issues subcontracts</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: windowtext\">Ensures that assigned projects are done accurately, on-time, billed within budget and within scope of the contract. </span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: windowtext\">Adheres to and ensures project personnel and subcontractors adhere to all safety standards, internal policies, and US Army Corps of Engineers requirements regarding health and safety.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: windowtext\">Understand project and contract scopes; actively pursues growth opportunities that will help the customer achieve desired outcomes</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: windowtext\">Help prepare and approve cost estimates, contract terms &amp; conditions, and technical responses to client requests for information, bids, and proposals</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: windowtext\">Ensures Technicians, subcontractors and other site personnel complete assigned work per established standards, and thoroughly communicate the services performed and completion criteria to customers</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: windowtext\">Complete timely and accurate project billing to maintain profitability goals and positive cash flow</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: windowtext\">Analyze financial reporting and project schedule to proactively address potential problems.
