Top pay for top technicians.</p><p>&#160;<br><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Education:&#160;&#160;Certificate or Diploma beyond High School.</li><li>Prior RV repair training or experience</li><li>Prior technical experience in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry preferred</li><li>Experience working in an RV Dealership environment is preferred.</li><li>RVDA/RVIA CERTIFICATION a plus</li><li>Self Motivated</li><li>Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.</li><li>Reliable and strong work ethic.</li><li>Valid driver's license required</li></ul><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:</strong></p><p>Diagnose, inspect, adjust, repair, or overhaul recreational vehicles including travel trailers. May specialize in maintaining gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, or chassis/towing systems as well as repairing generators, appliances, and interior components. Includes workers who perform customized van conversions.<br>RV Techs are responsible for servicing new and used RV's. They do service the chassis and engines in addition to interior, exterior, electrical, and plumbing repairs.<br><br>The RV Technicians will be responsible for the following:</p><ul><li>Communicating with customers, reading work orders, and examining vehicles needing repair in order to determine the nature and extent of damage.&#160;</li><li>Repairing and installing RV satellite systems, electrical systems, backup systems, awnings and interior cabinetry and counter tops.</li><li>Repairing and adjusting slide-outs.</li><li>Repair of generator systems, roof mounted air conditioning units, propane systems, water systems and plumbing.</li><li>Examining or testing the operation of parts or systems that have been repaired to ensure completeness of repairs.</li><li>Confer with customers, read work orders, or examine vehicles needing repair to determine the nature and extent of damage.</li><li>Connect electrical systems to outside power sources and activate switches to test the operation of appliances or light fixtures.</li><li>Connect water hoses to inlet pipes of plumbing systems and test operation of toilets or sinks.</li><li>Examine or test operation of parts or systems to ensure completeness of repairs.</li><li>Inspect recreational vehicles to diagnose problems and perform necessary adjustment, repair, or overhaul.</li><li>List parts needed, estimate costs, and plan work procedures, using parts lists, technical manuals, or diagrams.</li><li>Locate and repair frayed wiring, broken connections, or incorrect wiring, using ohmmeters, soldering irons, tape, or hand tools.</li><li>Open and close doors, windows, or drawers to test their operation, trimming edges to fit, as necessary.</li><li>Refinish wood surfaces on cabinets, doors, moldings, or floors, using power sanders, putty, spray equipment, brushes, paints, or varnishes.</li><li>Remove damaged exterior panels and repair and replace structural frame members.</li><li>Repair leaks with caulking compound or replace pipes, using pipe wrenches.</li><li>Repair plumbing or propane gas lines, using caulking compounds and plastic or copper pipe.</li><li>Reset hardware, using chisels, mallets, and screwdrivers.</li><li>Seal open sides of modular units to prepare them for shipment, using polyethylene sheets, nails, and hammers.</li></ul><p>Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer</p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Dental Insurance</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Disability Insurance</li><li>Vision Insurance</li><li>Vacation</li><li>Paid Holidays</li><li>Retirement &amp; Financial:&#160;&#160; &#160;401K Plan</li><li>Education and Training:&#160;&#160; &#160;Paid Training</li><li>Miscellaneous Benefits:&#160;&#160; &#160;Paid Uniforms</li></ul><p></p>",
