We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatrist to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis — focused solely on patient care, with no supervisory duties.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span><br>The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care to children, adolescents, and/or adults on a flexible, as-needed basis. This is a clinical-only role without administrative or supervisory responsibilities.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for clients of all ages (children, adolescents, adults) as scheduled.</li>\n<li>Develop individualized treatment plans that align with the client’s goals, clinical needs, and best practices.</li>\n<li>Provide medication management services, including prescribing, titrating, and monitoring psychotropic medications for effectiveness, side effects, and adherence.</li>\n<li>Conduct ongoing psychiatric follow-up appointments to assess progress, adjust medications, and modify treatment plans as needed.</li>\n<li>Offer psychoeducation to clients and families about diagnoses, medications, potential side effects, and treatment options.</li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with therapists, psychiatric rehabilitation staff, case managers, and other members of the care team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.</li>\n<li>Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) according to organizational policies and regulatory standards.</li>\n<li>Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations when appropriate to support integrated care.</li>\n<li>Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed, including safety planning and referrals to higher levels of care when appropriate.</li>\n<li>Stay current with evidence-based psychiatric practices, state regulations, and professional standards through ongoing education and training.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>For Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:\n<ul>\n<li>Master’s or Doctoral degree in nursing with a psychiatric specialization (PMHNP-BC).</li>\n<li>Active Maryland RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses.</li>\n<li>Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>For Psychiatrist:\n<ul>\n<li>MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.</li>\n<li>Active Maryland medical license.</li>\n<li>Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Minimum 1 year of outpatient psychiatric experience preferred.</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and flexibly within a team environment.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive PRN compensation.</li>\n<li>Flexible, as-needed scheduling.<br></li>\n<li>Supportive, collaborative multidisciplinary team.</li>\n<li>Opportunities to work with diverse populations and expand clinical experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: medium; font-weight: bold\">RTFNetwork is an equal opportunity employer.
