This role combines hands-on operational support with structured coaching to drive measurable year-over-year growth in revenue, gross margin, and EBITDA.</p><p><br></p><p>The FBC works directly with franchise owners to strengthen operations, improve financial clarity, and build leadership accountability. This performance-driven role is responsible for significantly improving franchise profitability and system-wide standards.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with franchise owners to develop annual growth plans, budgets, and forecasting strategies.</li><li>Lead structured weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews focused on revenue and EBITDA growth.</li><li>Conduct routine P&amp;L reviews and financial diagnostics to identify margin improvement opportunities.</li><li>Coach franchisees on job costing accuracy, labor efficiency, pricing discipline, and overhead management.</li><li>Support operational excellence through workflow optimization, facility audits, and compliance reinforcement.</li><li>Align sales growth strategies with operational capacity and margin targets.</li><li>Drive accountability by documenting action plans and ensuring follow-through on performance initiatives.</li><li>Conduct field visits to validate execution, identify operational risks, and strengthen leadership effectiveness.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>7+ years of restoration or disaster services industry experience.</li><li>Proven success improving financial and operational performance in a multi-crew or multi-department restoration operation.</li><li>Strong command of job costing, labor efficiency, margin management, cash flow, AR discipline, and budgeting/forecasting.</li><li>Experience leading operational teams (production, estimating, sales, or general management).</li><li>Familiarity with Xactimate, and insurance carrier documentation standards preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to coach, influence, and hold independent business owners accountable.</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Willingness to travel 25–35% nationally.</li></ul><p><strong>What Success Looks Like</strong></p><p>A successful Franchise Business Coach (FBC) supports franchise performance, strengthens financial discipline, increases revenue and margin, and ensures franchise owners execute consistently within brand standards.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>Equal Opportunity Employer</em></p><p><em>Five Star Franchising is an equal opportunity employer.
