We value both heart and head, the diversity of our people, and their experiences because that is how we continue to grow as a leader in our industry and expand our individual and collective potential.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Below is a general breakdown of the tasking and time required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>60% -</strong> Responsible for maintaining NV5 Geospatial owned, leased and operated aircraft and maintains aircraft in airworthy condition \n  <ul>\n   <li>Work with the Director of Maintenance to track and schedule maintenance on aircraft</li>\n   <li>Review and update tracking software as necessary. </li>\n   <li>Oversee vendor compliance during outsourced inspections</li>\n   <li>Coordinate scheduled/unscheduled maintenance away from base </li>\n   <li>Maintain up to date aircraft records (logbooks, AD’s, inspection reports and e-records) </li>\n   <li>Perform all work in accordance with approved FAA data</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>10% -</strong> Assist in the installation and removal of sensor equipment\n  <ul>\n   <li>Assist in maintaining avionics downloads for charts services</li>\n   <li>Assist in moving the aircraft in and out of hangar and the fueling operations of aircraft with the line technicians and pilots</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>10% -</strong> Understand and comply with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business\n  <ul>\n   <li>Participates in continuing education to maintain licensing requirements</li>\n   <li>Work with the pilots to create and maintain the highest level of safety</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>10% -</strong> Manage a spare parts inventory\n  <ul>\n   <li>Maintain all ground support equipment</li>\n   <li>Assist other Flight Department personnel with maintaining and cleaning aviation facilities to include the hangar, offices and grounds</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>5% -</strong> Supervise vendor compliance including outsourced maintenance.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Movement of the aircraft in and out of the hangars</li>\n   <li>Reporting of aircraft, company reports and project status</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>5% -</strong> Manage FAA record compliance\n  <ul>\n   <li>Understand and comply with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or the equivalent</li>\n <li>3+ years progressive experience as an A&P Maintenance Technician with an Inspection Authorization, or related experience</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate or bachelor's degree</li>\n <li>Cessna Caravan, Conquest, or King Air experience</li>\n <li>Formal manufacture training</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Attention to detail</li>\n <li>Self-motivated, ability to successfully work independently to problem-solve</li>\n <li>Ability to collaborate, clearly communicate and present accurate, timely information</li>\n <li>Ability to work as part of a team or independently</li>\n <li>Excellent mechanical and Avionics troubleshooting skills</li>\n <li>Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications</li>\n <li>Ability to work under pressure and be adaptable to change</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Drive aircraft tug and other ground service equipment</li>\n <li>Withstand seasonal flight operations including exposure to the cold and heat</li>\n <li>Ability to lift to 50 lbs</li>\n <li>Travel required: may travel up to 50% of the time to support remote operations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>NV5 offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k) and professional development/advancement opportunities.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.</em></p>\n<p><em>NV5 provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
