    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><strong>POSITION PURPOSE:&nbsp;</strong><br>To provide care with the knowledge and skill expected in the professional medical community.<br><br><br><strong>POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:</strong><br><br><strong><ins>Education/Experience:</ins></strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Medical School, (Internship), Residency.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><strong><ins>Licensure / Certification:</ins></strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Florida Medical License, DEA certificate, Board Certification, maintain current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><strong><ins>Skills / Ability:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</ins></strong><br>Examination, LAB and Radiological Evaluations; Diagnosis, Consultation, Therapeutic<br><br><strong>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (THIS IS A EXEMPT POSITION)</strong><br><br>Provide comprehensive primary care to a panel of patients.<br><br>Provide emergency screening and stabilization of acute patients.<br><br>Act as back up for other physicians.<br><br>Attend in-service and administrative meetings pertinent to the job.<br><br>Complete charts according to CHI policies.<br><br>Act as a facilitator between patients and consultants.<br><br>Provide in-service for other medical staff.<br><br>Provide re-employment exams and employee medical evaluations, as needed.<br><br>Partake in the peer review process.<br><br>Partake in functions of the Health Professional Staff (HPS).<br><br>Provide patient services beyond the &ldquo;visit&rdquo; by following up on tests.<br><br>Timely signing of reports for filing.<br><br>Timely completion of administrative forms (insurance, etc&hellip;).<br><br>Supervise Nurse Practitioner/Nurse Midwife/Physician Assistant, when needed.<br><br>Follow guidelines for provider productivity as established for CHCs in performance measures (4,200 to 6,000 encounters per FTE physician, 2,100 to 3,000 for mid-level practitioners per year).<br><br>Must attend at least four (4) Grand Rounds each year.<br><br>Provides quality care to patients.<br><br>Score high on Patient Satisfaction Survey.<br><br>Participate in organizational activities (i.e. Health Fairs).<br><br>Maintains 100% productivity monthly.<br><br>Reports to work on time and ready to work with minimal absenteeism.<br><br>Completes billing and encounter (B&amp;E) forms within the same day of intervention.<br><br>Provides accurate and timely documentation in Patient charts within the same day of intervention.<br><br>Adheres to Confidentiality Policies and Procedures / HIPAA Regulations.
